Seeds for the season : an anthology of 2014 ude writers
Seeds for the Season: An Anthology of 2014 UDE Writers is a collection of essays, poems, and short stories by UDE students and lecturers that will take you somewhere new.
The anthology is opened with essays on Nature. Indonesia has some of the most beautiful and exotic places on earth. Experience with Beautiful Nature will entice readers to visit one of the world's most famous islands. Sadly, many of those beautiful corners are neglected; essays such as Living in Nature, An Unforgettable Moment, Climbing the Mountain, and a handful others are shouting pleas to preserve Nature in sometimes unheard-of nooks of our own country.
A series of poems from One Summer Day to Winter Scent in B-Flat and F-Sharp are contemplating life through Nature symbolism. Readers are also invited to explore the beautiful message in An Unknown Journey and Hope, Belief, and Action!
How do contemporary students perceive daily life, their surroundings, and the future? Let's find out in Is Space Exploration Good or Bad, Two Great Songwriters, Video Games as a Good Friend for Young Children, and some others.
The rest of the Anthology will play with our imagination through short stories, ranging from inspirational stories, teen romances, fantastic and horror stories, and cautionary tales. Each story enters the world of a unique and at times uncanny character. From a haunted house to a dictatorial government in distant future, the anthology offers a surprise at every turn. The saying is true that one cannot help but learn a little when opening a new book.
